Paper submission is managed through EDAS. The following button links to the EDAS submission webpage for ISIT 2016 (after verifying your EDAS login credentials). For help with the submission process, please send email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In view of the disruption caused by the blizzard in the East Coast of the US, the deadline for uploading manuscripts is now Monday January 25, 2016, at 11:59 PM, Eastern Time (New York, USA). The deadline is firm; no further extensions will be granted.
Submitted papers should be of sufficient detail to allow for review by experts in the field. Researchers working in emerging fields of information theory or on novel applications of information theory are especially encouraged to submit original findings. Authors should refrain from submitting multiple papers on the same topic.
2016 IEEE Jack Keil Wolf ISIT Student Paper Award
If you wish to have your paper considered for this student paper award, then you are required to indicate this by choosing the appropriate category at the time of paper submission on the EDAS paper-submission website. Please also add the following text as the first sentence of the abstract: “To be considered for the 2016 IEEE Jack Keil Wolf ISIT Student Paper Award.”
Requirements for eligibility:
- One or more authors of the paper must be students.
- The principal author of the paper must be a student.
- The principal author of the paper must present the paper at ISIT 2016.
To be classified as a student, an author must be registered as a student at an educational institution at the time of paper submission. An author is classified as the principal author of a paper if all non-student authors certify that that author is the principal author.
Guidelines for Page Length and Format
Authors are encouraged to use LaTex to format their final manuscripts, using the standard IEEE conference specifications:
Manuscripts should use font size no smaller than 10 points, and have reasonable margins on all 4 sides of the text. The top and bottom margins should be at least 0.5 inches to leave room for page numbers. All fonts should be embedded in the PDF file.
The paper is limited to 5 pages in standard IEEE conference format. Manuscripts longer than 5 pages will be rejected without review. If full proofs cannot be accommodated due to space limitations, authors are encouraged to post a publicly accessible complete paper elsewhere and to provide a specific reference.
Please make sure that the submitted PDF documents:
- have no more than FIVE pages,
- have all used fonts embedded and subset,
- have no content written in the margins, and
- have page numbers omitted.
